Halloween was fun this year because Kallon is starting to understand what goes on around the holidays now. Kallon dressed up as a scurvy pirate or pirante as Kallon would say. Many of you may know that one of Kallon's favorite cartoons is Backyardigans, there is one episode about pirates and they sing a song all about it. In the song they sing "what do you do with a scurvy pirate?, and then the other characters answer back saying "make him walk the plank." Kallon sings this song to himself a lot, it's pretty darn cute. If you ask him what a pirate says he will say Aargh! We didn't plan on dressing him up as a pirate but it was the cheapest costume at the store so it worked out. Kallon's cousin Bentli was also a pirate, they were both pretty cute together. At preschool the kids all dressed up in their cosutmes and had a party. They learned about the letter "J" and jack-o-lanterns, sang songs, played pin the nose on the pumpkin, decorated paper pumkins with glitter and stickers, had a very yummy lunch, and decorated cookies. I think most of the candy went into little mouths more than actually got on the cookies. I don't think Kallon has ever had as much sugar in 4 hours as he did that day. All the kids were running around the yard in crazy mode! Having 5 two year olds on a sugar high is pretty hilarious. We also carved pumpkins with Jennie and Jared's ward on Monday night. Kallon was not too intrested in that one but Cory and I got some adult interaction and conversation!:) Our ward's Trunk or Treat was on Wednesday night. We had a good time there. We played games and ate way too many goodies. Kallon also participated in Go Fish and helped some older kids wrap up thier friends as mummies with toilet paper. Cory went as a ob doctor complete with prenatals in his pocket and a stethoscope and I put on my comfy pj's and robe and said I was a woman in labor! I know kind of lame but we decided to dress up at the very last minute. We had a good time. Hope everyone had a fun, safe holiday!

Very cute! I think it is great that your husband dressed up with you.
What a cute kid. You and Cory look great too. Glad you had a great Halloween. Now it is time to send the kids for sugar rehab though.
I love that Kallon and Bentli were pirates. I was a pirate 2 years in a row I think because I had to wear my brothers' hand-me-down halloween costumes
Love the costume! hilarious. I love the 'stach that you guys drew on Kallon. He is such a cheeser, and now we know where he got that smile from!
Kallon makes a mean pirate..til that gigantic smile! And your mom in labor costume makes me laugh..if only I looked like that in labor! All you needed to add was a little puke, some blood, a lot of sweat and maybe a very sad/angry face. Sick..good luck with that. :)
You guys are so cute! I'm glad you are having fun down there... I have another friend moving to Texas... must be the new thing... Well... So how is life? How goes the baby thing? When are you due again?? I'm so excited for the holidays... will you be returning to Idaho? Hope you are doing well!
