.....1. Never take a very sleep deprived toddler to the swimming pool.
2. Don't prolong a toddlers nap to take him to the swimming pool.
3. Don't forget to MAKE your toddler go to the bathroom before his nap.
4. The sun in Texas is way more brutal than the sun in Idaho-OUCH!!!
5. Even though I think Kallon is potty trained, NEVER leave the house without extra underwear.
6. Don't ever tell a toddler that a bean is like a jelly bean because when he eats it and finds out what it really is he will collapse in a bout of hysterics.
7. Don't let your toddler eat mac & cheese unsupervised, it WILL end up everywhere.
8. Never leave your favorite pair of sunglasses out where your toddler can grab them, take off running, trip and fall, and break them beyond repair.
9. Consider buying a shock collar for your toddler so that when he runs off for the tenth time and does not listen to your screaming and threats, all you have to do is give him a good shock. (would that be considered as child abuse?)
10. Always give your toddler a goodnight kiss, squeeze him tight and tell him you love him..........no matter what!:)
P.S. Watch this video, it made me cry. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JqfGqOx2iDQ

Sounds like you had a good day yesterday :)
Great post! This is exactly why I didn't go to pool day, although I was so tempted to just push Kyle's nap back. He's already a handful when he's well rested and full. :)
I have many days just like that. Hang in there. This too will pass :)
they are all the same...that is the only thing that brings me some sort of comfort...knowing moms all over the world are having their patience tested all day too:) gotta love 'em.
Hahahah! Love it. My glasses just got broken too. I can just imagine the bean thing..so funny!
TOO FUNNY! Thanks for the laugh!

Sadly, and most unfortunately... Yes, Amy, a shock collar is considered child abuse in 47 states. They're always coming up with ways to keep us parents down.
This post is the epitomy of my life. It sure seems our boys are a lot alike. I thought we'd skip right over the terrible twos because no signs showed up until about two and 1/2 and now I know why they're called the terrible twos. Hopefully it passes soon right?
I thought Callen was great at the pool! I must of left too early!
shoot, I spelled his name wrong. Sorry Kallon!
SO funny! I totally understand! It is so hard sometimes because they have a mind of there own!!
Sounds are fantastic!!i hope you have great experience yesterday!!!thanks for sharing such a cute post..
