Sewing: Take Two

I did it.....kind of. I sewed my first piece of clothing, a dress for Kater. It only took me two and a half months from start to finish and a lot of help from my mother-in-law. It looks pretty cute if you are standing at a distance:) If you look to closely you can definitely tell its beginner sewing work but oh well I am pretty excited about it. Sewing straight lines is still hard and who would have thought reading a pattern was so darn difficult? It might be a while before I start another project, hopefully my skills will improve:)

It looks great!! You are making me want to try and sew something now. I better think twice, by the time I would finish something for Bentli she will have out grown it. I can't believe how big she is getting! She is so cute (of course she is, she is my niece, how can they be anything but beautiful)! love ya'll (that was for tx)

Way to go. I still haven't ventured into the clothing section of sewing. I will stick to sewing baby blankets. I understand that.

Wow I can't believe you made that dress! It is so cute. Reading patterns are not easy, I've never been able to do it.
