A TRAMPOLINE!!!
Kallon and Kate's mad jumping skillz
Thank You Grandma and Grandpa Green and Grandma and Grandpa Spicer!!
In other news we have been doing a lot of yard work lately and we are planning a garden. I hope this time we can get something to grow. When we bought our house there was a huge pile of slate rock in the backyard. Last fall we moved all this rock onto the patio and made a garden where it had been. The rocks sat on our patio for months and months while we tried to decide what to do with them. A few weeks ago we pulled up a huge ugly bush that was growing in our backyard and it left a large hole. Instead of filling the hole and planting grass we thought it would an excellent idea to build a fire pit. We already had a TON of rock so we gave it a shot. We are so glad we did because we have used it quite a bit already and the kids love it. Its having the best part of camping right in our own backyard with flush-able toilets, shower, and a nice warm bed just a few feet away. That is my kind of camping!!

Hey I like that idea of camping too. And the firepit looks great.
We got Cash and Vanna a trampoline (when it was on sale for a really great price) for their combined birthday gift (hers is in April and his in June). It's been sitting in the garage for a couple weeks now and I can't wait to put it up. I think the kids will love it and seeing your kids just proves to me that they will.
You have to remind what part of the state you live in. We were looking at maps of Texas the other day and just commenting on how huge it is. Ty has a good friend in Houston - huge! Hope you're liking it. How much longer will you be there?
Love it! We tried the square foot gardening thing last year and it is the ONLY way I have EVER gotten things to grow and produce. You could apply similar principles to a larger one-the best things we did: weed guard underneath and "Mel's Mix" dirt. It's 1/3 peat moss, 1/3 vermeculite, and 1/3 fertilizer of your choice.
So cute Amy!!! What a great idea. (We don't have the space yet, but plan to get one as soon as we do!) We actually got Madison (And the other kids) a mini- exercise tramp for Christmas and they jump on it inside, CONSTANTLY! I can only imagine the use they would get out of a big one! I'm glad your kids are loving it.
You'll have to let me know how the garden does. And...I absolutely love the fire pit! So fun!
