Don't judge Kate and her no clothes look it was hot that day.
The following Saturday we had a full on birthday celebration with a Spiderman theme. Kallon had been asking me for months if he could have a b-day party. I decided what the heck, why not he is turning five and I have not done a party for him yet. Kallon decided it was to be a Spiderman party and that there must be a pinata. He was in luck because Walmart actually had a Spiderman pinata...who knew? When asking him what games he wanted to play at his party he replied "the one where you get to hit the big thing and candy comes out." My child is so descriptive. Oh, you mean a pinata? "No, the big thing made out of paper and stuff and you have to hit with a bat and break it so all the candy comes out." Yes Kallon, that is called a pinata. We went back and forth a little bit on this but he finally took my word for it. He had nine of his closest friends over for pizza, Spiderman cupcakes, Spiderman water balloon toss, pin the spider on Spiderman, and last but not least the Spiderman pinata!! The pinata was the highlight of the entire night. I should have known five year old boys would love hitting something as hard as they can without getting into trouble. Having nine sugared up 5 years olds for two hours is exhausting, but I think they all had a pretty good time.
Even Kate got into the party spirit.
Kallon is already planning next years big event.

How fun! Kallon and Kate both are getting so grown up. I've thought the same thing about our kids this year on their birthdays (and every year really:). I still have to post about Cash's birthday (it was June 1st - getting behind again:). It's crazy how time flies!
Oh my! I love it! It looks like it was a super cute and fun party. I also love the picture of Kate with the bat. Haha! Look out!
Happy Birthday to your Kallon. So fun to see pics of my cute nephew on here. :)
How fun! Miss you guys! Those cupcakes were so cute. And I think I am going to take after Kate and start walking around naked in the heat, I don't think I will be as cute as her though.
Amy- It's Kristin Bright Johnson here. Hey I read about Jared and Jenny in the paper, and then did some blogging to find your site and theirs. Congrats on being pregnant. 3 is crazy. It has been such a hard number for me. But now that Carlee is almost 2 it is getting easier. It looks like life is treating you well. I cried when I read Jenny's post. I can kind of relate. My sister Jenn and I were prego with our last babies together. She was due in August and me in October. But her little guy came at 26 wks. He was 1 lb 12oz and 12in long. He pulled through. He was in NICU until the middle of September. Those pics of Teagan reminded me of the awful times we all went through with Jacob. He has done well. He was just diagnosed with C.P. He is very special...but the journey has been rough and will always be. I tried to find Robbie's # but didn't see one. I tried to leave a post on Jenny's web page, but it wouldn't let me. I was wondering if I could get their address and send them our thoughts and concerns? Would you email me at campinggirl21@gmail.com. Then I can also invite you to my blog if you'd like. Thanks.
